2026 Exhibiting Membership

The Kittery Art Association is a member-driven 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization of volunteers. Our artists and community members make us who we are. As an Exhibiting Member, you are invited to submit work to KAA Exhibits, and receive early notices about news, exhibitions, programming, and special events. Each year, the KAA holds up to ten All Member Exhibits. Exhibiting Members may also apply to sell their work in the Gallery Shop.

Our Exhibiting Members are the heart and soul of the KAA. Your artwork and energy provides our exhibits and programs with the vital resources necessary to prosper. Your annual membership contribution helps us serve our creative community and offer a space for the arts and artists to flourish.

Please keep in mind that The Kittery Art Association is a volunteer organization, and we request that our Exhibiting Members contribute their time through volunteering. We encourage you to remain active in our arts community throughout the season. The time and dedication of our Exhibiting Members make everything possible at the KAA; our member artists are the volunteer staff at our front desk in our gallery, they make it possible to be open to the public for regular business hours, have artwork available for sale, and serve on committees that present a full calendar of exhibits, arts programming, music, and more.

2026 Exhibiting Members:
- May submit work to each exhibit in our gallery at 2 Walker Street in the heart of Kittery Foreside throughout the 2026 Show Season.
- May apply to sell work in Gallery Shop.
- Listing in KAA Member Directory with optional link to Artist Website.
- Exhibit Press Releases in local newspapers, KAA website, coverage on social media.
- May post news and updates in the online KAA Community Facebook Group.
- Weekly Plein Air Outings for KAA Members in the summer months.
- Stay up to date with gallery happenings with the monthly KAA newsletter and member news bulletins.
- Invitation to Opening Receptions and special events at the gallery.
- Receive a 20% discount on framing when you show your membership card at D.Pratt, Framer.
- Participate in workshops, classes, artist demos, and music series.

Membership Fees are paid annually and expire on the final day of the year.
First time members who join the KAA after October will have their membership prorated through the end of the following calendar year.

Submission Guidelines / Artist Resources / Important Dates For KAA Exhibiting Members

*The KAA is committed to its mission to local arts and artists. If you find that the Exhibiting Membership fee is prohibitive/you are unable to volunteer, please email us at info@kitteryartassocation.org - we have a scholarship program available and the membership trustees and board president will review your applications in confidence.
