INTRODUCTIONS
The artist. The insight. The Work.
Dear Artists,
For many collectors, knowing the artist is just as important as the artwork itself. When you understand who made the piece, what inspired it, and the ideas behind it, the work takes on deeper meaning. It’s no longer just something beautiful to look at—it becomes a story and a connection.
Collectors are often drawn to authenticity. Learning about an artist’s journey, values, and process helps create an emotional bond with the work, which is what makes it truly memorable and lasting. It also helps collectors feel confident in their purchase, knowing where the piece fits within the artist’s larger body of work.
At its core, collecting art isn’t just about owning an object—it’s about supporting a creative voice and becoming part of that artist’s ongoing story. In that light, the exhibits team would like to invite you to apply for a small scale INTRODUCTIONS feature focused on hi-lighting you and your practice.
You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and highlight your work on a small scale in the gallery utilizing one of the four sides of our portable walls, there will be four artists participating each month on each of the four sides of the wall. We envision this as a space to share your bio, a photo of you working or a headshot, cool details about what’s behind your work, the inspiration, the process and of course a few carefully chosen pieces and a small selection of prints if you choose.
We’re excited to offer this to our members and look forward to your applications. This opportunity is not juried, all members are highly encouraged to apply. Accommodations for clay artists to safely exhibit their work as well. This will be a rolling admission with the first features taking place in March of 2026.
