INFORMATION ABOUT THE MARCIA ABIGAIL RYDER SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Marcia Abigail Ryder was a beloved Traip Academy art teacher for 28 years, during which time she touched the lives of hundreds of students. Her memory and spirit lives on through the Kittery Art Association's Marcia Abigail Ryder Scholarship fund.

This fund was created in 2008 to perpetuate Marcia's work inspiring and encouraging young artists in the seacoast area. Every year the Kittery Art Association gives several scholarships to deserving local students to further their education in the arts.

The money for this fund is donated by members of KAA and the community.
• Checks for the Marcia Abigail Ryder Scholarship Fund may be made payable
to the Kittery Art Association. Please send your contribution to the Kittery Art Association, 8 Coleman Ave, PO Box 44, Kittery Point, Maine 03905.

• If you know of someone who would be a deserving recipient of  this scholarship,
please contact information@kitteryartassociation.org so that you can receive the application forms. In addition to the completed application form, two recommendations are required, one being a teacher.
